News - 200 IM Participation Rules

The revised participation ruling re the 200im for Level 2 and Level 3 was to make it easier, to qualify, the first publication will also apply, so swimmers can qualify on either.

Swimmers will be required to achieve at least one of the following to participate at Level 2 and Level 3 Age Group, regarding the 200im rule:

1            Achieve  the  200im Qualifying time for their age group   or

2            Achieve one 200im Participation Qualifying time  for their age group (published on the 17^th    September 2011) or

3            Have a minimum of two 200im times on the database – this was published on the 29^th September   2011

Hope this clears up any misunderstanding.

Swimmers, who are not able to swim 200im due to medical constraints, must apply for exemption producing medical certificates.
